Aleks Le : Well , to be a little blunt and honest , I personally do n’t really revel isekai all that much , so I was happy that once I induce to plunk into the subject ofSolo Levelingthat it never felt like one to me . It ’s not a groundbreaking concept of bringing game organization or the " isekai " world into ours , but the style they managed to explicate it , and the manner they managed to employ it for the characters in the story made it very , very piquant for me . It felt passing grounded . It feel like , you bed , dungeon crawling and hunting was n’t just like , " Oh , it ’s our duty as hero . It ’s what we necessitate to do . " It was more like , this is what some hoi polloi do to pay rip .

Aleks Le : I know I ’m tramp a lot , but I [ have to ] impart this up before we move on from this subject . Caitlin and I were just talking about thisin sequence 3 . My favourite scene in the entire installment is when a donjon appears in the middle of a road and a civilian walks by . They ’re closing it down to make certain that nobody runs into it , and a civilian walks by , and he goes , " Of of course , just in the middle of the blame road . " I was like – that is so real . That is hilarious . I make love that . That ’s why I love the serial .

The complexity of it , I think , is what sets it aside from other appearance within the musical style .
Aleks Le On Finding Common Ground With Jinwoo’s Journey & Overcoming Recording Challenges
Aleks , what are – if any – characteristic that you ’ve seen , or kind of pick up on with Jinwoo that you relate to ? Do you think that there ’s anything about him that ’s kind of helped chip in to your performance as the character reference ?
Aleks Le : Oh , absolutely I palpate that . I resonated a lot with this graphic symbol because I ’ve been there . I have n’t been drink down , but I have been there , you recognize . Every time I get to play a fictitious character that has two dissimilar face to them , I always like to think [ about ] that . It ’s the best case of theatrical role to approach . And now , I ’m very fortunate to be where I am . My life is amazing . I have a lot of things that I ’m exceedingly grateful for , and have work hard for . But at the same clock time , I know what it was like before that , and that ’s why this character really resonated with me .
I retrieve the rage , the bitter , and the frustration at the world that existed within me before I had any of this stuff , and I knew what it was like to have to fight down for everything . I know what it was like to quetch about the thing that I did n’t have , and the things that everybody else get to have . I really connect with that sense of ego - saving , and with everybody , there comes a side of selfishness that we do n’t often wish to let the cat out of the bag about . A lot of my carrying out really came from the life-time experiences that I ’ve had . The last affair I ever think I would say is that , oh , I found this in an isekai gum anime . It was very real for me .
To add on to talking about the operation and realism of them , have there been any challenges that either of you have face work on the show so far ? If so , working through those things , do you consider that it ’s elevate the quality of what you have accomplished with the English Dub ?
Caitlin Glass : Sure . Jinwoo and Aleks , by proxy , have some really sinewy , vocally taxing scene . I ’m always letting [ Aleks ] know , because I see the episodes before he does , " Alright , man , here ’s what we ’re in for . " We do n’t hold out in the same place . We ’ve been rosy enough to have Aleks in the studio apartment with us sometimes , but other times , we show remotely . So [ there are ] some challenge that I really feel have mainly been technical . In my mind , Aleks can do anything . Seriously . So when I look at a vista I ’m like , Oh , man , this can be hard . But I ’m never upset that we ’re not going to get it .
If anything , I ’m so worked up to hear how it ’s going to become out as we overcome the expert difficulty . We just [ have ] forbearance . One time , Aleks could n’t see the television . It was n’t make out across at the correct time for him . I just shot one on my phone and texted it to him , and he goes , oh .
Aleks Le : Oh , okay , yeah . And then , next take , we got it . So I was like , just encounter the audio . I ’ll experience this out . But that ’s a very rare case . Super , super rare .
Aleks Le and Caitlin Glass On Where They Would Fit Into Solo Leveling’s World
So , I do want to demand you guy cable a playfulness question . If the two of you were Hunters in the world ofSolo Leveling , what type of Hunter would you be , and what rank do you believe you would be in the humans ?
Aleks Le : We do n’t get to choose our ranks , do we ? It might depend on when you unlock your hunting power , like , maybe if I unlocked mine now , I would maybe be like a cholecalciferol or century - grade Orion . Yeah , D - ranked . Ideally , I would bed to be a therapist , so I can cure my own injuries . That sound like an larger-than-life power to have .
I bang for a fact that every fourth dimension you see somebody do an incredible effort , you ’re like , I can do that . If I had a knife , and I was in there fighting goblins . I probably would n’t be able to do that at all . So I ’ll say a therapist , for now .
Caitlin Glass : In any sort of spiritualist that I catch that has a party of sub , or even just a mathematical group of friends , I ’m always draw to , or drawn to , rather , the loud ones . I just like them the best . I ’m not really like that in real life , but that ’s always my preferred case of quality . Just the loud , will do anything , kick down a doorway [ type ] .
