It ’s structured more sexily than the previous movie . We also had more laughs . Humor and fun between the quality is an essential part of Star Trek . It ’s one of the great charms of the original show , and that ’s something we went back to for this film . At the same time , while some of the escapade in the past is very humourous , some of it is very serious .
AfterFirst Contact , Frakes directedStar Trek : Insurrection , which felt like an extended episode ofTNG , for both expert and ill .
