Max Grodénchik : I remember not getting all the way of life through [ the script ] . read the playscript , I think , ‘ Oh my God , they ’re making Rom and Leeta look awful … The first part was very unearthly to me , like they were against Rom and Leeta . But then , at the end , everything works out and we see that … There was a turnabout , and I really enjoyed that .
Chase Masterson : I was kind of freaked out when I read it . [ I was like ] wait a second base , how are you portray Rom ? Because he ’s superb and howling , and this is like , you know , not . And the turnaround was really important .
