Well it was actually really coolheaded . Because from where you protrude , you get a function - what was that , like , 12 years ago ? And it ’s in this show that was massive at the time . And it was just like , I ’m just hoping I can keep this katana in my hired hand and not drop it when they ’re shooting . And then to go through this whole arc with the quality and the journeying she ’s had , which has been fantastic and I ’m very thankful for how she was written . And then to go into actually creating the spinoff that completes her story with the valet who she loves - with Rick Grimes - that was a very nerveless arc .
I mean , the interesting part of it were , of course , administrator producing is a sight of workplace . But then … there was an episode that I wrote , that I was showrunning . And [ showrunner ] Scott Gimple was like , ' Do n’t talk to me , talk to her . It ’s all her . ' And there are times I ’m in , like , this very intense installment , and then I noticed that the remains in the fit does n’t look dead enough . And I ’m like , ' exceptional consequence , makeup , can you just help me with this a little bit ? ' So I have to jump out of Michonne and check that she looks near and three weeks dead , and then jump back into the role .
